On October 19, 2024, SCC Crew Manning Company Limited participated in the "Student Conference combined with Enterprise Connection for the 2024-2025 school year" organized by the Faculty of Marine Engineering - Vietnam Maritime University at the University's campus at 484 Lach Tray, Dong Quoc Binh, Le Chan, Hai Phong.

According to information from the Organizing Committee, nearly 500 students participated in this Conference with more than 60 enterprises mainly in the fields of ship management, crew supply, ship design & construction, industrial production, etc.

Also at the Conference, SCCM Company also had a booth to promote and introduce information about opportunities and jobs at SCCM to students of the Faculty:

• Cadet program for Japanese and Taiwanese ship groups;

• Crew recruitment program for other ship groups;

All programs have attractive salaries corresponding to the results of the candidate's competency interview.
SCCM booth also received much attention from students. After the Conference, SCCM and students will continue to connect to exchange information to reach future cooperation agreements.

The Faculty of Marine Machinery is one of 11 faculties of Vietnam Maritime University, the undergraduate training period is 4 years. Enrollment target of the Faculty in 2024: Marine Machinery major has a quota of 160 and Marine Machinery major has a quota of 45. The total number of students of the Faculty of Machinery, Vietnam Maritime University is currently 1,604, trained in 4 majors: Marine Machinery Operation, Marine Machinery, Industrial Machinery and Automation & Industrial Engineering Management.
