In early October 2024, SCCM sent staff to attend the Seminar in Manila, Philippines organized by First Marine Service (FMS).

Based on the content of the Seminar and the partner shipowners, SCCM launched a 3-day Seminar (from November 5 to 7, 2024) for Management Officers on vacations.

The seminar was also attended by representatives of the shipowner Vitranschart, representatives of ClassNK Hai Phong and the participation of more than 40 Management Officers, with 100% of the captains and chief engineers currently on vacations, organized in the form of offline and online at the SCCM Hai Phong Representative Office.

With the theme "Recent trends of PSC in ship inspections and response measures". After the opening, Capt. Nguyen Ngoc Linh opened with the topic "Working effectively - Developing positive thinking", and at the same time deployed the main content - "Recent trends of PSC and response measures" for all participants of the Workshop.

Also in the content, the topic "PSC - common defects and new updates of IMO regulations and codes" was deployed by the ClassNK Hai Phong staff for Management Officers.

The topics "Maritime transport business in practice", "Fuel valve maintenance and preservation" were updated by CE. Tran Ngoc Huy for Officers.

The Training Board introduced to crews and discussed the issues of "C.I.C 2024", "S.E.A" and "Safety awareness".

Capt. Le Hoang Son – Vitranschart DP, ship owner representative, updated “VTC Safety Management System”, “Ship Document Control” and “Risk Management” for the attending people.

Through the workshop, all Management Officers have supplemented and updated a lot of new and useful knowledge for the management and operation of ships in the upcoming working period.
