Vietnam Sea Transport & Chartering Joint Stock Company (Vitranschart JSC), the parent management entity of SCCM, celebrated its 50th anniversary just this past June 25, 2025 — marking fifty years since its founding on June 25, 1975.

As a member of Vitranschart, we—SCCM—are proud to be part of the Vitranschart family and extend our heartfelt congratulations to the parent company on this meaningful occasion.

On April 30, 1975, the Southern region of Vietnam was liberated. Shortly thereafter, on June 25, 1975, the Southern Vietnam Ocean Shipping Company (Sovosco) was established and began operations. Today, fifty years later, Vitranschart (formerly Sovosco) stands as one of Vietnam's leading maritime transport companies, having contributed significantly to the nation's development from the early days of liberation.
