SCC CREW MANNING COMPANY LIMITED (SCCM Co.,Ltd)
HISTORY OF FORMATION & DEVELOPMENT
1. Origin (1975-1994)
Vitranschart - Vietnam Sea Transport & Chartering Joint Stock Company (SCCM's parent company) was established right after the liberation of the South on April 30th, 1975, managing more than 20 abandoned old ships. By 1984, 9 Worldwide ships with a crew of nearly 2,000 seamen were added.

In 1986, with the seafarers potential, Vitranschart's leaders signed the first crew supply contract with a Hong Kong shipping line. From then until 1994, previous generations of SCCM seafarers had accumulated experience working on foreign ships.

2. SCC Center was established (1994-2018)
Southern Crew Manning Center (SCC) also known as "SCC Center" is the predecessor of SCCM Company, established under Decision No. 159 dated March 17, 1994 of the Vietnam Maritime Administration.

SCC was responsible for supplying seafarers for 20 ships of Vitranschart at that time as well as for foreign ship owners, mainly Evergreen Shipping Company during this period. There was a period when SCC seafarers worked on 25 ships of this Taiwanese shipping group.

Entering the 21st century, SCC boldly expanded the Japanese market in the Bulk Carrier, General Cargo... segments and regularly maintained 12-20 ships of Japanese ship owners.

3. SCC Crew Manning Company Limited (SCCM Co., Ltd.)
Nearly 25 years since its establishment, on July 18, 2018, SCC Center was upgraded to SCC Crew Manning Company Limited to be proactive in market expansion activities.
Currently, SCCM Company has nearly 700 seafarers working on 25 shipping vessels of Vitranschart and domestic and foreign shipping corporations.
